About me

Hi and welcome to my page my name is alan my hobby is radio, i have been using radio now for many years. Starting with cb radio at a young age of 9 years. Working on 11 mtr my first radio was a straight 40 sharp Am. Moving onto the cobra 148 gtl dx multi mode radio, having it modified for extra bands.
Moving onto legal cb radio fm a straight 40 communicater NI440dx,
and useing the mid band fm midland 77.250k,
which i still have in the shack.
I started studying for the M3 call which i passed getting the call M3JRA, i used this call for 14 months working many stations world wide, on 10 watts from home and from my mobile station.
On 18/10/04 I recieved my new callsign of 2E0JRA. I have now progressed to my advanced licence.
May i please take this opportunity to thank Mike and the worksop radio club for there time and effort.
